The Field Foundation of Illinois issued MoveSmart.org a challenge grant - they agreed to match every dollar we raised, up to $10,000, by December 15, 2009. Thanks in part to the Pierce Family Foundation, the Poverty & Race Research Action Council, the Metro Chicago Information Center, NeighborWorks America, and more than 60 individual donors we made our goal!!

But we need more than just funding. Have a technical skill or talent? Please donate your time to developing the technical infrastructure of this site. Internship opportunities are available. Specifically, we are seeking the services of:

• Drupal whizzes
• social networkers
• map-o-philes
• video editing geniuses
• graphic designers

We are also in need of some equipment. Our current wishlist includes:

• digital video camera
• projector
• printer/scanner/fax combo
• digital still camera
• tripod
• lavalier mic
